Course Overview: |
The combined Creative Arts / Teaching degree provides Creative Arts students with the opportunity to obtain a teaching qualification at degree level concurrently with studies for the Bachelor of Creative Arts. There is only limited intake of students from 2008. The Creative Arts component of the Bachelor of Teaching / Bachelor of Creative Arts provides a combination of theoretical and practical studies across the fields of visual, literary and performing arts and of the law. Both practice and non-practice studies are offered in each year of the course. The program also offers a sequence of interdisciplinary theory subjects which students may credit to any subject area for the purposes of their major. In addition, elective subjects in arts management are available at third-year and fourth-year honours level.
