A/Prof David R MarshallSubject Overview: | This subject examines the historiographical foundations, theoretical frameworks, and recent developments, of the discipline art history from the Renaissance to the present. It critically examines a range of methodological approaches to the interpretation of particular works of art, with an eye to their application in the student's own research projects. |

Assessment: | A 1000 word classpaper 20% (due during the semester) and a 4000 word essay 80% (due during the examination period). A minimum 75% attendance is also expected as a hurdle requirement to pass the subject. |
