This subject provides an overview of key elements of general project management for tertiary education managers. This subject is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively manage projects. It will impart practical knowledge to enable students to provide deliverables
in less time, at less cost, at a preferable quality level and within the agreed scope. The in-depth treatment of the full project lifecycle spans the definition of a project through to the project’s closure. The subject is closely modelled upon the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) established by the Project Management Institute (PMI), the most widely-recognised professional body for project management.
Note this subject is offered by arrangement with our partner GlobalNxt where you will be part of a cohort of international post graduate students. Enrolling into this subject means that you are jointly enrolled with the University of Melbourne and GlobalNXT which means that you are obliged to meet the terms and conditions of enrolment of both institutions.
