Learning Outcomes:

Students who complete the Graduate Diploma in Arts (Advanced) in this area of specialisation should:

  • experience recent developments in literary studies;
  • develop an understanding of methodological and theoretical approaches at an advanced level in the discipline; and
  • gain expertise equivalent to an honours degree in a particular specialist area of study.
Structure & Available Subjects:

Duration: 1 year full-time / 2 years part-time

The Graduate Diploma in Arts (Advanced) in this area of specialisation requires:

  • thesis subject (50 points)
  • one compulsory subject (12.5 points)
  • three elective subjects (37.5 points)

Total of 100 points

Please note: the thesis must be taken over two consecutive semesters
