Overview: | The minimum entry requirement for Linguistics & Applied Linguistics honours is completion of all the requirements for the BA, with a major in Linguistics & Applied Linguistics and an average of at least H2A (75%) in second and third-year subjects within the major, or equivalent. |

Subject Options: | Compulsory subjects:50 points for students in pure honours. Combined honours students need to refer to the structure above. Note: the thesis requires enrolment in two consecutive semesters Subject Study Period Commencement: Credit Points: Linguistics and Applied Linguistics Honours SubjectsNote: Honours students need written permssion from the subject co-ordinator prior to enrolling in the following:
Note: Honours students may also take the following subjects for 25 points by enrolling in Directed Reading Project for the remaining 12.5 points, with approval from the subject co-ordinator.
Note: Honours students may enrol in only one of the following subjects for the Honours degree and these subjects are not available in online mode for Honours students:
Note: Subject to Honours coordinator approval, students may substitute one of the other LING9000 subjects.
