This subject involves the advanced study of major theories and methods of discourse analysis and representation, through consideration of both classic and recent approaches, and through practice at applying particular methods of analysis. |

Assessment: |
Two class assignments each of 1000 words 40% (due during the semester) and a project of 3000 words 60% (due at the end of semester). This subject has the following hurdle requirements:
Assessment submitted late without an approved extension will be penalised at 10% per day and in-class tasks missed without approval will not be marked.
