Subject Overview: Students will gain professional experience relevant to the range of work environments relating to Music Performance through a supervised work-placement program with an approved music organisation.
Objectives: On completion of this subject students will be able to:
  • participate effectively as a member in a professional music work environment
  • articulate relevant career pathways relating to performance and their progression requirements
  • enhance and understanding of the world of music performance as it relates to a professional environment
Assessment: A report of 2000 words, due at the end of semester (50%); a work placement diary/portfolio of 1500 words, due at the end of semester (30%); academic supervisor's report (10%); external supervisor’s report (10%)
