This unit is designed to develop an appreciation of the value of economic reasoning in solving business problems and to develop the fundamental economic analytical skills required in managerial decision making
Students who successfully complete this unit should:
• Be able to use supply/ demand analysis to solve economics problems

One assignment of 2000 words (30%)
Final two-hour examination (50%)
