Course Overview: | The Master of Modern Languages Education is an advanced course for both Australian and international students who desire specialist studies in modern languages education (also called languages other than English (LOTE) education). Please note that this course will not provide you with registration to teach in Australia. |

Objectives: | Students who have completed the Master of Modern Languages Education course should be able to:

Course Structure & Available Subjects: | Students are required to undertake 150 points of study, consisting of 75 points of coursework, and a thesis of 20,000 words incorporating research methodology (75 points). Students enrolled in Streams 150A are required to attain an average of at least 75 in their coursework component before commencing their thesis. If this score is not attained, progress will be assessed on an individual basis. |

Entry Requirements: | An applicant may be eligible for entry into the Master of Modern Languages Education, Streams 150A , if the applicant has:

Core Participation Requirements: | Attendance at all classes (tutorial/seminars/practical classes/lectures/labs) is obligatory. Failure to attend 80% of classes will normally result in failure in the subject. |
