Overview:	This History curriculum is an engaging and dynamic program offering students the opportunity to extend their knowledge and understanding of historical interests in a range of diverse contexts, as well as to develop their capacity to analyse, think critically and communicate effectively. The School of Historical Studies offers both flexibitiy and focus, covering a diversity of times, places and themes, from Ancient Rome to modern Indonesia, which reflect the latest developments in historical research and vocational practice.

Structure & Available Subjects:	Major The BA major comprises eight subjects from the lists below: Level 1 One Arts lnterdisciplinary Foundation Subject (Understanding Asia and Democracy are recommended) One level 1 history subject Level 2 37.5 points of level 2 subjects Level 3 37.5 points of level 3 subjects, including the compulsory capstone subject 131-307 Making History. Total 100 points Minor The BA minor comprises six subjects from the lists below: Level 1 One Arts lnterdisciplinary Foundation Subject (Understanding Asia and Democracy are recommended) One level 1 history subject Level 2 25 points of level 2 subjects Level 3 25 points of level 3 subjects Total 75 points
