Overview: French

A 100 point major and 75 point minor sequence is available in French across three language streams:

  • Beginners: for students who have very little or no knowledge of French.
  • Intermediate: for students who have undertaken four or five years of secondary school French or equivalent.
  • Advanced/Post-VCE: for students who have obtained a pass in VCE French, or its equivalent.

The major usually consists of 25 points at level one, 37.5 points at level two and 37.5 at level three. The minor usually consists of 25 points at level one, 25 points at level two and 25 points at level three.
