Subject Overview:

Preparation of measured drawings of an approved building or structure to prescribed standards.

On completion of the subject students should be able to:

  • achieve competence in the surveying and presentation of buildings to publication / architectural standards.

Assessment:

A suite of measured drawings and the associated field notes to the equivalent of 5000 words.

On completion of the subject students should have developed the following skills and capabilities:

  • Ability to represent a structure in accordance with objective drawing conventions.

  • Advanced drafting and/or CAD skill.
