Catrin NorrbySubject Overview: | This subject builds on skills acquired in Swedish Language and Culture 1A and focuses on the further development of aural, oral, reading and writing skills. Students will extend their vocabulary and increase their ability to apply basic grammatical principles in writing. They will develop an increased ability to express themselves in everyday communicative situations and acquire a basic understanding of formal and colloquial registers of Swedish and their contextual use. |

Assessment: | Aural, oral and written assessment totalling 1,000 words 25% (during semester); a 1-hour mid-semester test 25% (during semester) and a 2-hour written examination 50% (in the examination period). |
