Catrin NorrbySubject Overview: | This subject builds on skills acquired in Swedish Intermediate Language and Culture A. It focuses on reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary and grammatical structure, making use of a number of different types of texts and activities, including the study of a contemporary film. Students will expand their vocabulary to a higher level of complexity in the speaking, understanding, reading and writing of Swedish. |

Assessment: | Aural, oral and written assessment totalling 1,000 words 25% (during semester); a 1-hour mid-semester test 25% (during semester) and a 2-hour written examination 50% (in the examination period). |

It is only available at level two for students who completed subject requirements for the beginners stream of Swedish at level one. Previously available as Intermediate Swedish B. Students who have completed Intermediate Swedish B are not eligible to enrol in this subject. This subject is also available online. Students who wish to complete this subject online need to contact the subject coordinator by email prior to the commencement of semester. |
