Dr Wu YunjiSubject Overview: | This subject will further develop the range of students' listening and speaking skills; expand their experience of Chinese prose styles; and improve their ability to communicate in written Chinese. |

Assessment: | Short tests and/or assignments 20% (commencing 2nd week and before the end of semester), an oral test 15% (during the examination period), a listening and comprehension test 15% (during the examination period), a final examination 40% (during the examination period) and continuous class participation 10%. |

Breadth Options: | This subject is a level 2 or level 3 subject and is not available to new generation degree students as a breadth option in 2008. This subject or an equivalent will be available as breadth in the future. Breadth subjects are currently being developed and these existing subject details can be used as guide to the type of options that might be available. 2009 subjects to be offered as breadth will be finalised before re-enrolment for 2009 starts in early October. |

Students who have completed 110-123 Chinese 2B and as 110-040 Chinese 2B are ineligible to enrol in this subject. Available at 2nd year for students who begin Chinese at Chinese 2E and 3rd year for students who begin at Chinese 1A. |
