This subject comprises two modules: Health Promotion Principles: Public health and the social determinants of health, primary health care, health promotion and education; health promotion models and strategies; evidence-based oral health promotion; health promotion programs; health promotion program planning, implementation and evaluation. Health Education: Health education in context; health behaviours, communication and counselling skills; teaching and learning methodology; interpersonal and group skills; health education models and frameworks; educational evaluation; and may include field visits and practical work. |
