Subject Overview: |
This subject builds participants’ knowledge of the fundamental principles and practice of quality teaching, learning and assessment within tertiary education settings. Through a series of lectures, seminars and workshops, the subject provides an introduction to quality assurance frameworks, with a particular focus on the role of assessment for assuring quality and improving teaching and learning within higher level AQF courses. It draws upon the participants’ experiences as well as research on quality approaches, policies and measures used within tertiary education settings. |
