Overview:

The Crop Production specialisation is offered within the Master of Agricultural Sciences. This multi-disciplinary education and research-led stream is aimed at developing graduates who wish to engage in issues surrounding crop science, the basis of agricultural production. Graduates will be taught the issues surrounding crop production systems that are profitable and ecologically sustainable.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge in crop science and skills in integrating crop system concepts across multiple disciplines
  • Interpret, critically analyse and evaluate data generated through research activities in order to understand crop science principles including the ability to apply these principles to specific issues
  • Investigate and apply innovative approaches to the contemporary, interdisciplinary management of crop production systems to meet identified needs
Structure & Available Subjects:

Students should choose three specialisation core subjects (37.5 points) for the Crop Production specialisation within the Master of Agricultural Science.
