Subject Overview:

Inventive experience in, and the use of music elements through group and individual studies. Integration and application of theoretical, aural and practical music concepts in dance training. Students will be presented with an overview of musical styles and forms. The subject will provide students with a basis for selecting and editing appropriate music and for working with musicians.

Assessment:

Participation in tutorials (20%); Completion of classroom tasks using musical components (20%); two written papers totalling a minimum of 2,000 words (60%).
