Subject Overview: |
The conceptualisation, planning and exploration of a new performance/installation/event presented as a work in progress with critical evaluation and discussion with artistic peers. The practical exploration of ideas and concepts. The development of appropriate work plans, rehearsal processes, design approaches and resource frameworks. Attention is given to locating and articulating the student’s own practice within the field and the current questions and/or conceptual framework to be creatively investigated and applied, while identifying appropriate, relevant source material from a range of starting points to continue the foundations of a practice-led research approach. |
