The student will provide evidence of having met this goal by presenting a portfolio or minor dissertation made up of a preface and two project reports. PLEASE NOTE: Adequate supervisory arrangements must be in place before students commence this subject. Students wishing to complete the Masters degree should discuss options for WPP with the course coordinator.
The aim of this subject is that the student gains practical experience, usually in a workplace setting, in the application of knowledge and skills learnt during the coursework of the Master of Biostatistics program, under supervision of an experienced biostatistician.
Portfolio or minor dissertation (approximately 10,000 words) to be marked by two examiners, at least one of whom will be internal to the University of Melbourne.
