Time Commitment: | Contact Hours: Fortnightly meetings with the supervisor over two consecutive semesters of enrolment Total Time Commitment: 10 hours per week in the first semester of enrolment and 20 hours per week in the second semester of enrolment. |

Students wishing to enrol in this subject must be admitted to Honours or PG Diploma in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. Please note this thesis subject is currently being phased out and is only available to students who commenced their Honours/PD-Arts program prior to 2013. Students wishing to enrol in Honours/PD-Arts from 2013 will need to enrol in a 50 point thesis subject as per the course requirements for BH-Arts & PD-Arts. |

A thesis of 12000 words 100% (due at the end of the second semester of enrolment). Students are also required to prepare and present a poster of their research at a poster session (held at the end of the 6th week of the second semester of enrolment) |
