Subject Overview: |
Students will be required to negotiate public exposure for a piece of their own music. This may include concert performance, web, radio or television broadcast, film screening or any event where their music is presented in public outside the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, in partnership with an external organisation or individual. |

A 2000 word report, including a description of the circumstances of the work’s composition, how the performance opportunity was procured, publicity and promotion, the event itself (including attendance or broadcast reach estimation), feedback and reviews, further outcomes as a result of the event and conclusions reached (60%); documentation of the event in sound and vision, submitted in DVD format or accessible on a website (40%). |
