The Graduate School of Humanities & Social Sciences
The Graduate Diploma is similar to an undergraduate major and ideally suited as an introduction to the new discipline. This course is suitable for professional development and also a preparatory program if you intend to study at a higher level in an area you have not studied previously.
Students who complete the graduate diploma should:

Subjects totalling 100 points chosen from any of the areas below. No more than one subject may be taken at first year.
Subjects from each area of specialisation totalling 100 points (see each specialisation for details).
Total 100 points
An undergraduate degree, or equivalent.

Students who complete this course may be eligible for entry to:
·Demonstrate in depth knowledge and understanding of selected areas of a specialisation or across discipline areas where no specialisation has been undertaken.
·Access and appreciate national and international debates in their specialised areas of study or across discipline areas.
·Qualify for further graduate study in the area of specialisation.
·Qualify for employment in a wide range of occupations.
