Topics will include conceptualising the nature of leadership in early childhood, global perspectives and emergent models; working with parents, colleagues and other professionals; developing networks and working with government and non-government agencies; methods of communication and identification of typical problems associated with the communication process; nature of decision making in the centre; sources of power and influence; and policy development and the role that early childhood professionals may play as advocates engaged in a wider societal context.</P> |
