Subject Overview: |
This subject focuses on consolidating the creative, technical, and leadership skills of each of the students by giving them the opportunity to practice these skills at a high level on a major production (film or video acquisition) that they have written. Students will also continue their collaborative experience by crewing for other students. On this production, students will also have the opportunity to collaborate with students from the Master of Producing. Prior to completion of their studies students will take part in an industry orientation program. |

On completion of this subject students should be able to:

Assessment: |
Continuous and based on submission of major production, class exercises and crewing undertaken: Major production (5 to 15 minutes) (50%); crewing on a minimum of 2 productions (30%); participation* and class exercises (20%). (*Participation assessed on criteria of engagement, ability to discuss & give/receive feedback and teamwork skills.) For this subject there is an 80% attendance hurdle for workshops, classes, lectures, demonstrations and tutorials. |
