Students will carry out a supervised research project in a relevant area of speech pathology. A draft scientific paper will be written describing the outcomes of the project.

At the completion of this subject students should have developed a deep understanding of a particular aspect of speech pathology and have added knowledge or confirmed existing knowledge in the field. They should also have developed skills in applying research techniques to their future practice.

• Literature Review (manuscript introduction) & Project Summary (methods) Week 2, Semester 4 - 30%

• A final draft scientific paper of no more than 8,000 words due in week 10 of Semester 4 - 70%
