Students will choose two of the following electives: Global, Clinical or Professional Development. This will enable the students to appreciate the diversity and depth of physiotherapy as a profession; and the social, cultural and political context of health care practice. Placements for these elctives are in a variety of settings including hospitals, community and educational organisations, sporting bodies and private practices, in Australia or overseas.
|Objectives:||The key objective is to provide students with the opportunity to broaden and deepen their experience of physiotherapy practice including the rationale for physiotherapy approaches; the application of physiotherapy to health education and treatment; the role of other health professionals and members of the community; the role of family, community members and Government in health education and petient care.|
