Total time commitment 120 hours
Completion of 37.5 points of second/third year Jewish studies for third year. Admission to the postgraduate diploma or fourth-year combined honours in Jewish studies for fourth year. Approval of the subject coordinator is also required.

This is a special research project and provides students with a strong interest in a particular area the opportunity to extend and deepen their knowledge of the topic, sharpen their critical faculties in relation to source material and secondary literature, and acquire substantial skills in planning and executing a research project.
Students who successfully complete this subject should...
A research essay of 5000 words in Hebrew or English on a prescribed topic in consultation with the supervisor 100% (due at the end of semester).
Assessment submitted late without an approved extension will be penalised at 2% per working day. All pieces of written work must be submitted to pass this subject.
