Subject Overview: |
As for Printmaking Studies 5, this subject requires a further development of work, attitudes and ideas generated in the previous semester. Content is directed by the individual student's independent work program. Emphasis is given to the broader context of printmaking and fine art practice as it relates to the student's conceptual and practical development. As students approach the culmination of their undergraduate studies, emphasis is given to the context of professional practice as it relates to exhibiting. As in Printmaking Studies 5, the tutorial program provides a vigorous forum for the discussion and evaluation of the student's work, and its context within the broader parameters of fine art. As part of the studio subject, students are required to participate in drawing classes and related drawing activities. |
