Subject Overview:

The physical and engineering aspects of the remediation, stabilisation and waterproofing of historic buildings.

Objectives:

To give the ability to recognise physical problems, undertake simple calculations, design remedial measures, and to brief specialist consultants where necessary.

Assessment:

Up to four written and illustrated reports based upon physical inspections due throughout intensive teaching period, totalling 6000 words (or equivalent), 100%.
