Time Commitment: | Contact Hours: On campus students: One 2-hour seminar per week on campus, plus regular individual consultation with thesis supervisor. Blended learning delivery: 7 hours tutorials (on one day) twice per semester at the intensive study weeks (14 hours) and individual consultation time with supervisor as required during semester. Total Time Commitment: A total of 240 hours (including non-contact time). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Subject Overview: |
This subject provides students with experience in the development of a minor thesis. Preliminary sections of the thesis will include: An overview of literature pertinent to a thesis topic and the development of a research design, including research questions and method, and (where appropriate) submission of an Ethics Approval form. Tutorials will develop skills in the design and conceptualization of programs and evaluations, as well as development of appropriate writing and research skills. |

A review of literature (5,000 words) due at the end of semester (80%); research questions and method (1,500 words), due mid-semester (20%). |
