|Subject Overview:||This subject will explore the pathophysiology, diagnosis and management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The principles of diabetes care will be explored with a focus on the scope of practice of the nurse providing clinical care, psychosocial support and education within a multidisciplinary framework.|
At the completion of this subject students should be able to:
Students must achieve a cumulative mark of at least 50% and a pass in both the clinical hurdle requirements in order to pass the subject.
