Subject Overview: This subject will study the various components of staging dance productions, including
  • Costume design and making

  • Lighting and set design

  • Production Management

  • Stage Management

  • Introduction to computer soft ware and information technology relevant to dance.

This subject will be delivered in tutorials and practical sessions by a variety of tutors with appropriate expertise.
Objectives:

Assessment: Completion of practical tasks set in class (70%); written assignments totalling 1,000 words (30%).
