CHIN10014/CHIN20002/CHIN30021 Chinese 2B or CHIN10008/CHIN20019/CHIN30017 Chinese 2F is the minimum level required. Students must have completed two semesters of study of Chinese at the University of Melbourne in order to obtain credit for this subject. |

This subject is intended to provide an in-country study experience for those students who are unable to study overseas for the longer period of time required by the University's exchange programme. Students will experience Chinese culture and society at first hand while intensively practising their language skills. |

Assessment: |
A 2-hour written examination 50%. 45-minute listening comprehension test 20% and a 10-minute oral test 30% (all due in the final week). Students are required to have a minimum of 90% class attendance and achieve a pass in all tests set by the host university. |
