Education Student Centre| Subject Overview: | This subject further develops English language competency in the four macro skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening across a range of academic and professional usages. Topics include developing reading strategies for different purposes, writing for different purposes and audiences, analysing and producing a variety of written and spoken genres, analysing a variety of academic and professional discourses, utilising appropriate academic or professional discourses in written and spoken texts, synthesising information from different sources and managing interpersonal and group interactions. |
