Understand the methods employed in the conduct of infectious diseases clinical trials
Understand ethical issues specific to infectious diseases clinical trials
Understand how endpoints of infectious diseases clinical trials are determined, including surrogate markers
Define surrogate markers, and identify their limitations
Understand the microbiological and laboratory assessment of infectious disease clinical trials
Understand vaccine study design
Design a research proposal in infectious diseases
Two assignments, each of 2,000 words, and each worth 50%.
