| Subject Overview: |
In this subject students will consolidate the skills developed in Indonesian Level 4A. Students should be able to read Indonesian texts of different styles and registers, and to write a fairly nuanced essay in formal Indonesian, demonstrating sensitivity to the complexity of Indonesian social life and language. |

| Assessment: | Class participation 10% (ongoing), written work totalling 1500 words 40% (ongoing), 10 minute in-class oral presentation 10% (mid-semester) and 2-hour written final examination 40% (examination period). Students are required to attend a minimum of 80% of all classes in order to be eligible to take the examination. |
