Education Student CentreSubject Overview: | This subject aims to develop knowledge and skills in the role and nature of norm referenced assessments; examines the principles and application of informal and alternative assessments and their application to developmental and sequential teaching; application of a Program Development Framework; evaluation and critical analysis of established goals and objectives; development of written skills in goal setting and goal writing for Individual Learning Support Plans(LSP); planning and implementation of the Learning Support Plan within the inclusive and specialist setting congruent with the VELS and IFSP; planning and implementation of LSPs alongside the Individual Family Service and Support Plan(IFSSP); implementation of the LSP using multi-element curriculum, differentiated teaching practices, adapting teaching materials and instruction in order to cater for diversity in the classroom. |
