Overview:

This major is only available to students in the pre-2008 Bachelor of Arts.

A major in anthropology usually consists of eight 12.5 point subjects, totalling 100 points. It comprises:

  • two first year subjects: Anthropology Studying Human Diversity, and an Arts interdisciplinary subject; and
  • three second/third year level subjects selected from the core subjects list; and
  • three second/third year level subjects from either the core or optional lists.

Students who commenced their degree before 2007 will need to complete 112.5 points toward this major in order to complete the major.
