This subject continues, through class work and tutorials, to build on the concepts learned in Screenwriting 1. Different elements of screenwriting principles such as character, dialogue, point of view and internal logic are discussed. Each student will also write an innovative script for a 4-8 minute exercise to be produced as partof Assigned Projects 2.
|Assessment:||Assessment is continuous and based on the following: Final draft script for a production 4-8 minutes due mid semeter one (50%); class exercises (total 1000 words minimum) (30%); class and script tutorial participation* (20%). *Participation assessed on criteria of engagement, ability to discuss and give/receuve feedback and teamwork skills). For this subject there is an 80% attendance hurdle for workshops, classes, lectures and tutorials.|
