Students will receive tuition in their area of practical study. Vocal and instrumental students will develop their technique and awareness of the stylistic and interpretative characteristics of the repertory studied with an individually designed program of repertoire in preparation for an end-of-year examination. |

On completion of the subject, students should be able to:

Assessment: |
Vocal and instrumental students: a 15-minute technical examination at the end of the semester of approved technical repertoire (50%); teacher's report and mark indicating progress made toward the end-of-year examination (40%); attendance at instrumental or vocal class and attendance at concert class (10%). Students must pass all components of assessment to pass subject. |
