|Subject Overview:||This subject is an extension of the structural behaviour, design and construction detailing covered in Construction Technology 2A and Construction Technology 2B/Structural Systems. The structural design concepts are extended and related to the varying construction techniques required. More advanced aspects of design detailing, documentation and construction methods for the following: precast concrete building systems including tilt slab construction; basements and site retention; industrial pavements; steel portal frames and steel frame systems.|
