Subject Overview: | This subject focuses on the Teacher Candidates’ awareness of the characteristics of knowledge, practice and professional engagement for professional accountability in teaching. The placement is focused on assessment for tracking student learning more closely and to inform teaching. Teacher mentors in the school and Clinical Specialists from the university continue to monitor and support the Teacher Candidate. Teacher Candidates attend only one Practicum Seminar this semester, but will continue to develop their Professional Practice Portfolio as a means of analysing data and reflecting on practice. |
