Subject Overview: |
After completion of this subject students should be able to use advanced analytical and field-based techniques to determine fruit composition; and formulate yield and quality management approaches to optimise grower returns; measure aspects of soil and plant water, plant nutrition and weather to propose methods to manipulate grapevine capacity and fruit quality; research and apply precision management techniques to site selection, vineyard establishment and vineyard management situations; and, undertake vineyard risk assessments to formulate resultant action plans to operate vineyard enterprises within a sustainable environmental management framework. |
