Subject Overview: This subject introduces students to the nature of agribusiness activities in Australia and the key concepts of economics, finance and risk associated with managing businesses involved in agriculture. These concepts will be explained, anaylsed and applied, using real case studies and farm visits.
Assessment: A 3 hour examination worth 50% of the final mark (end of semester), and 3 written assignments worth 50% of the final mark (due during the semester).
