Overview: Anthropology & Social Theory

A major in Anthropology & Social Theory consists of eight 12.5-point subjects, totals 100 points and consists of:

  • Two core anthropology subjects
  • One core social theory subject
  • Two Anthropology & Social Theory electives
  • Engaging the World: Theory & Anthropology (compulsory capstone subject)

Minor

A minor in Anthropology & Social Theory consists of six 12.5-point subjects, totals 75 points and consists of:

  • Four Anthropology & Social Theory subjects, at least two of which must be taken from the list of core subjects.

The capstone subject is not available in the minor or as breadth studies outside the BA.
