Overview:

Social Theory

A major in social theory consists of eight 12.5-point subjects, totalling 100 points. It comprises:

  • two level one subjects in any area of study (25 points); and
  • six level two/three subjects in social theory (totalling 75 points), which must include three of the following five core subjects, and three subjects from the list of elective subjects below.

Students who commenced their degree before 2007 will need to complete 112.5 points toward this major in order to complete the major.
