Glenda MacNaughtonSubject Overview: | Students will increase their responsibility for the program and its implementation culminating in a three weeks curriculum project. Skills of observation will include a focus on at least six individual children and plans for these will be incorporated in plans for the whole group. Planning will include all the predicted events of the children's time at the centre. Communication in closer work with children and adults will maintain and extend skills achieved in previous years practicum in management of the whole group of children in routine and informal times of the day. Students will critically reflect on the implementation of the regulations and code of ethics which govern children's services. Students will have the opportunity to extend their understandings of other BECS3 subjects within a practical setting, |
