Course Overview:	The Postgraduate Diploma in Contemporary Dance Teaching is designed to educate and train existing and potential Contemporary Dance teachers. This is a one year diploma which provides practical and creative training in Contemporary Dance Teaching.
Objectives:	This course aims to :- Educate and train Contemporary Dance teachers Provide existing dance teachers with a formal and recognised postgraduate qualification in Contemporary Dance Assist Career transitions for experienced dancers Expand employment opportunities for dance graduates Produce highly skilled, creative and imaginative Contemporary Dance teachers who will promote and advocate for the art form in a range of contexts Produce dance teachers who are industry aware and demonstrate initiative, who have the necessary skills to administrate and market themselves and survive in a commercial environment. Produce Contemporary Dance teachers who work from a sound anatomical and psychological knowledge, and who work ethically and promote safe dance practices.

Entry Requirements:	Applicants are required to have a three year degree, or equivalent, with a major, or equivalent, in contemporary dance OR equivalent documented professional dance experience of at least 5 years.
